The platform is designed for superyachts to search, book & manage flights for their crew. Individuals can't access the site, as it needs to be registered to an actual vessel.
But yes, any superyacht in the industry can register for the site.

Our fee is included in the prices displayed in the search results, which are always very competitive to anything you can find elsewhere.
There are two methods for paying for flights:

You schedule the demo and like what you see, then share your yacht's registry documents. We build your dedicated site and share login credentials to any crew you authorize as travel bookers.
Definitely.
There's nothing holding you to the platform. If it's not for you, then just let us know and we'll take your site offline. No subscription means you can use it as much (or as little) as you like.
The bare minimum.
Vessel registry, owning entity address and business registration number. Those and the email addresses of your appointed travel bookers amongst the crew.
We share a basic user agreement via DocuSign empowering your vessel to purchase marine fares on behalf of others, then you're off to the races.

We have access to all classes of travel.
Yacht Flights can purchase flights using your personal or yacht credit cards.
To purchase a flight with credit card, just complete & return our authorization form.
Our booking platform uses a third-party payment processor to handle the transaction. Neither of us is a financial institution, so this part has to be outsourced.
The payment processor may charge up to 2.75% on top of our quoted fares (depending on your card type and nationality). Keep this in mind when comparing costs.
Our booking platform provides the maximum ‘hold period’ to book tickets without being charged for them. Oftentimes up to 24 hours. We can cancel tickets, even non-refundable ones, for free inside that window.
If you cancel a ticket, the payment processor retains their fee for handling the original credit card transaction.
Marine or flexible public fares can be changed or canceled for free (we don't charge you anything). If the airline imposes a fee, we'll inform you upfront during the quoting process.
Refunds on credit cards appear instantly as a "counter-charge" on your card statement.
Once the ticket gets issued, after our extended consideration time afforded by our booking platform, you will receive a receipt by email for the credit card purchase. This receipt will include your flight price and applied credit card fee.
We also send receipts for credit balances from cancellations or changes on a credit card.
You can enroll your yacht to pay monthly by wire transfer, instead of by credit card for each flight.
You avoid all credit card fees – saving nearly 3% on each booking.
When you need to change or cancel a booking, the entire amount is instantly credited back to your deposit balance.

We get to know your program: private/charter, cruising itinerary, historical crew travel strategy, crew repatriation destinations, rotation schedules – all of it.
Our team underwrites your estimated annual flights purchased and monthly travel expenses. Any historical information you have is applied to our evaluation.
Your deposit balance is calculated to keep sufficient funds on account between bi-monthly top-ups.
Each month we review your deposit balance in your Monthly Report. If your plans change or you anticipate different flight requirements, we adapt. The deposit balance is your ‘float’ that rises & falls with your program’s specific needs.
The longer we work together, the sharper we get.
When you enroll in the platform, our fee is $0.
It's completely free to change or cancel a ticket. We don't think it should cost you for us to click 2 buttons and cancel a flight!
The only instances where we charge a change fee is if you're changing airports or doing any particularly complex itineraries. Essentially, we only charge if we have to use our brains ;-)
If you decide to cancel, all deposited funds are returned from our bank to yours.
Take your time deciding if the chosen itinerary is really the one you want!
Almost every flight ticket has a free cancellation deadline. We call this the ‘voiding period.’
This means you can cancel a ticket within a certain period of time directly after it was issued for a full refund or before you even get charged at all.
Even non-refundable tickets have an inherent free cancellation period.
Consideration time allows us to immediately cancel a ticket without paying for it.
The consideration time is calculated from ticket to ticket. It depends on the geographic source of the ticket, airline, fare class, and other details.
These timeframes can be a few hours, up to a couple days depending on the scenario.
Yacht Flights can tell you exactly how long you have for each quote, on request. This way you know how long you have to finally decide to book, while we lock in the price and remaining seat.
Even non-refundable tickets have a consideration time, unless they explicitly say otherwise.
We can reserve the ticket before you have to commit. We will cancel before your consideration time expires.
We can usually cancel the ticket before the credit card is charged. If the card isn’t yet charged, there are no fees!
We take full advantage of this extended consideration time for all our flights.
Unless you’re in a hurry to check-in to your flight, we’ll wait until the very last minute to issue your actual ticket.
You’re confirmed on the flight, and you have your booking reference, but your card might not yet get charged.
Only once the ticket is officially issued and the booking platform returns your receipt can we send it to you.
During this consideration time, your booking is confirmed and you will receive an itinerary with reference codes.
You have a spot on the flight, and everything is registered with the airline.
Only after this consideration time expires will you be able to manage your booking on the airline website or app.
Your ticket needs to be ‘issued’ to access the online services like seat selection or upgrades. If you’re in a hurry, let us know! We’ll skip the consideration time and issue the ticket directly.
